MWG Presents “Camera Obscura”

MWG Entertainment entered the multimedia production market with the goal of producing original online HD content targeted towards the ever-growing female audience. Their series My Two Fans is a comedy that focuses on the dating woes of a single girl “looking for love in all the wrong places”. Road to the Altar is a mockumentary “reality show” about a young couple planning their wedding. Now, MWG takes a stab at the horror/thriller genre with the new series Camera Obscura.

When Clara’s reclusive Grandfather Sam, a grizzled LAPD crime scene photographer, passes away, she soon discovers there was more to his life than she ever could have imagined. Quickly realizing the world is on a desperate precipice between reality and a nightmare dreamscape where unimaginable creatures freely walk the earth, she must finish her grandfather’s quest before all hell breaks loose.

When she unwittingly frees the inmates of a very special prison, Clara must hunt them down and recapture them. With macabre creatures and nightmarish monsters, Camera Obscura is a supernatural thriller where an ordinary girl finds herself thrown into an extraordinary situation. The series features Reagan Dale Neise (Material Girls, A Minute with Stan Hooper, Malcolm in the Middle, Maybe It’s Me), Don Jeffcoat (CSI: NY, Bones, One Life to Live, 7th Heaven), Jack Klugman (Quincy, M.E., The Odd Couple, You Again?) and Edin Gali (Mad Men, The Tap, Bedfellows). Slated to premiere sometime this month, Camera Obscura appears to be a surreal journey into the unknown.

Book: Guild Leadership

from The Guild:

You may have noticed that in Season 3, episode 5 — Application’d, Codex reads a book in her webcam called Guild Leadership: Lessons from the Virtual World. We wanted to let you know that this is not a prop, it’s an actual book by Jeon Rezvani that can help us all improve our game. This book is chock full of great insights into how online leadership translates into real world applications and vice versa and proves that MMORPGs are not a waste of time. Finally, a book that respects gamers!

So check out this book and know that all proceeds from its sale go to Oprah’s Angel Network. Jeon chose this organization because Oprah matches all administrative costs so none of your money goes to overhead. The Network also fosters leadership in young people, builds and reforms schools, helps orphans and other unfortunate people. So get this book, and feel good about being a gamer and helping the world!

New Neil NOW: Episode 6 “The Fairy Strikes Back” is Live

from The Legend of Neil:

The sixth and second to last episode of the season has arrived. It’s definitely one of our favorites. A whole heck of a lot of poop hits the fan on this episode when the Moblins and Neil square off and Neil’s relationships with the Fairy and Old Man get pushed to the limits.

This episode was probably the most difficult to shoot as it rained on us most of the day, so I’m really proud that we were able to pull out what I think is one our best efforts story wise. I hope you enjoy it as well, feel free to tell me if you do or don’t on Facebook and Twitter. And as always, support the show and buy a t-shirt!
