We gather here today not to induce drooling over the latest in USB spork technology or to introduce a WiFi detecting flying Dalek, but rather to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to you — our loyal fans. Why? Because it was just shy of a Jupiter year ago when we launched ThinkGeek. That’s more than 315 Million seconds in the past! Plainly spoken, ThinkGeek revealed itself to the Jedi way way back in August of the year 1999, or 4696 if you prefer the Chinese Lunar calendar. Which in a very roundabout way makes this our official 10 year Anniversary, or our 10th birthday — depending on how you roll. However you like to think of it, we know that we’d never be where we are today without you — our amazing Zombie Monkey Army of Smart Masses. So thanks, folks. Here’s to you!

We couldn’t let our 10th Birthday come and go without giving you another great gift, so we pulled out our digital hammers and chisels and carved out our very own new web site — ThinkGeek 3.0! We are pleased as monkeys at the Dole farm to be able to show you our shiny new presence on the Intarwebz, and we hope you enjoy it. With this redesign comes much more than just a visual design — we now have more fun like action shots, Tweets, haiku, videos and other geeky silliness across the site.
